The Coast Guard Public Affairs Style Book 2009
The purpose of this information is to standardize the use of words, phrases, titles, names, etc., that are frequently written in Coast Guard releases, captions and stories. The information should be used in conjunction with the most current version of the Associated Press Stylebook. The AP Stylebook does NOT take precedence over the Coast Guard Stylebook. For conflicting items always use the Coast Guard Stylebook.
Division Medical Information Form
To access the Division Medical Information Form click here. You must a completed copy of this form in your possession on all patrols. Failure to have this form may cause you to be removed from the patrol.
PRESS RELEASE - What if you call 911 and no one ever answers?

Incident Briefing ICS 210CG Worksheets
Click here to access the Incident Briefing ICS 210CG Worksheets. Coxswains should print a copy of each worksheet and take them along on patrols.
ATON/PATON Worksheets
Click here to access the ATON and PATON Worksheets. When doing an ATON/PATON patrol, coxswains should print a copy of each appropriate worksheet, complete them and submit them to the FSO-NS.
GAR Score Worksheet
Coxswains and crew members click here to download a copy of the GAR Score Worksheet that is needed to be completed by each person on a patrol before commencing the patrol.
Why complete forms documenting your activities as an Auxiliary member?
Those of you who missed the January Flotilla meeting missed an excellent presentation on the various forms of interest to all members of the Auxiliary. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get a good overview of the use of forms, the presentation can be accessed from here . I encourage each of you to review this information because it is essential if you want to receive credit for the volunteer work you have been donating.
FEMA Tests
All Ops qualified members are required to take FEMA training IC100, and IC700. These courses must be completed by all boat crew trainee's before being scheduled for a QE. All coxswains are required to complete IC 100, IC 200, IC 700 and IC 800. To take a course click on the appropriate link below.

Once you have received an email from FEMA verifying that you successfully passed the test, send a copy of the email to the FSO-IS who will ensure it gets recorded in AUXDATA.
AUXDATA
All flotilla members are reminded to log into AUXDATA at least once every 90 days or your access will be restricted. If you have problems logging in, call or email Gil Steinfort.
Insurance
Before going out to conduct Vessel Exams or Marine Dealer Visits or any other authorized Auxiliary activities, be sure to contact the FC, VFC, or appropriate FSO. This will ensure that you are fully covered by insurance in the event something happens.
Staff Officer Reports
All Staff Officers are reminded that their monthly report is due one week prior to the next Flotilla meeting. Please ensure that you submit this important report.
