Patrol Support

Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 17-6 provides assistance to the Coast Guard by conducting maritime patrols on the Banana River, Indian River, and Port Canaveral.  Its area of responsibility extends from the Pineda Causeway to the 528 Bridge.  Flotilla 17-6 provides Safety patrols, Aids to Navigation patrols, Marine Safety patrols, harbor patrols at Port Canaveral, Shuttle launch support, and Search and Rescue support.
